This year chosen charity is Asthma UK, its always hard to pick a charity to raise money for but this one is close to a lot of people involved in the rally. One of the Scrapball team members lost a parent to an Asthma induced heart attack recently so hence this years charity.

1 in 11 people in the UK have asthma, that's over 5 million people of which over 1 million are children. Asthma is serious every 16 minutes a child is admitted to hospital and every 7 hours someone in the UK dies from asthma. Asthma UK is the charity that helps people with asthma to take control of their asthma and understand their asthma, which will lead to our vision of 'control over asthma today, freedom from asthma tomorrow.'
